Treatment System Installation:
To support the hospitals' growth including their hospital bed expansion program, the new critical care Tower, larger state-of-the-art Emergency Department, and a new Children's Tower, Micro-Waste^® sold and installed its latest technology, the Micro-Waste^® Disinfection System (MDS^®) treatment system, Model MDS-2481, replacing the 15 year-old ABB Sanitec, Inc. system. The system incorporated new designs to allow for higher throughput and higher capacity than previous systems sold by Micro-Waste. In addition to other new features, it also includes Micro-Waste's^® proprietary shredder removal system that allows the shredder to be pulled and replaced in 4 to 6 hours to minimize annual downtime for preventative maintenance.
