Treatment System Installation:
Micro-Waste sold and installed an ABB Sanitec, Inc. Microwave Disinfection Unit, Model HG-A-100S in 1993, the first Model 100 manufactured and sold in the US. The system was used continuously from 1993 until 2008, when it ws replaced with the Micro-Waste^® Disinfection System^® (MDS^®) biohazardous waste treatment system to provide a higher capacity and higher throughput required for the growing hospital.
